SouthWest MotorSport is a non-profit organization dedicated to recreational Road-Racing based in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Originally formed as an outlet for Vintage and Gt racers, SWMS welcomes everyone who has an interest in recreational Road-Racing and karting. SWMS has a Class for all Cars!
Our home track is Sandia Motor Speedway, located twelve miles west of Albuquerque, New Mexico, but we also race in other locations such as Arroyo Seco, New Mexico and Pueblo MotorSports Park in Colorado.
SouthWest MotorSport Welcomes Enthusiasts at All Levels
Though originally formed as a group for "racers," SWMS also runs a high-performance driving school for those interested in learning better driving skills and for those interested in working their way toward a competition license.
During our event weekends we also host "lapping" sessions for those qualified drivers who have successfully completed our driving school and would like to drive their cars at speed in a safe environment.
