Annual Technical Inspection and Winter Series #2 Race - March 11th and 12th at Suika Circuit (AKA Sandia Speedway)
Hello racers and race fans! SWMS is organizing our Annual Technical Inspection Day (March 11th, 2023) and Winter Series Race #2 (March 12th, 2023). Please come and get your race car inspected on Saturday, as well as race your Miata, Vintage, Contemporary, kart, or Legends car. HPDE and lapping on Sunday only. The first Winter Series race was such a blast, and we expect this race to be even better!
Cost will be $275 for the weekend or $140 for a single day for cars and $95 per kart. MSR is open and accepting registration for the event. SWMS strong preference is for each entrant to use MSR to register and pay for the event. MSR makes everything much easier for race day preparations. While registering, please take a minute and update or fill out your profile. SWMS needs all the car and transponder information so that we can provide it to our registrar and timing/scoring. This information is important to efficiently ensure each car is getting logged correctly!
SWMS is requesting that if you are planning to attend, please send Jerry Stoughton (fastpanoz128@gmail.com) with an email stating that you're planning to attend, as we need an accurate car count. SWMS's needs 10 cars and 4 karts each day to make this a breakeven proposition for the club and the track.
SWMS procedures, race control, safety workers will all be in effect for the races. Ambulance crew and tow truck will be there just in case. Tech (Dave and/or Ken) will be there to inspect your race car. Please have log books available. SWMS will have burgers and hot dogs at lunch for everyone both days. Come out and enjoy the spring weather.
