We're getting close to the big SWMS race event this weekend at Sandia Speedway! Join us for the Summer Breeze Grand Prix III on Saturday and Sunday, June 26-27, 2021. This 2-day event will include Contemporary, Vintage, Spec Miata, Open Wheel, High Performance Driving, and Karts. There is not going to be a Competition Licensing School, so the race days will now be shorter than originally planned. We should be done before the days get too hot. Join us for the driver's meeting at 8:30AM both days with workers and cars to the track shortly after. The race schedule for the weekend is attached. Our first SWMS race of 2021 had a terrific number of entrants, so let's keep the momentum going and all get out to the track! Please register as soon as possible if you have not already signed up.

For some fun going forward, the SWMS Board has now asked that our Timing and Scoring Chief keep track of class lap records at our SWMS events. Come out this weekend and see if you can beat these times! Since these times are for the recent SWMS events, we ask that if you have evidence of a better lap time from a prior year SWMS event on the full road course for your class, please let us know your time and provide the timing evidence and we'll update the records! So far, below are what the quick times are looking like.
